The opening ceremony of the 4ης Attica Green Expo took place successfully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Tae Kwon Do Olympic Indoor Hall in Palaio Faliro, Athens.
Distinguished guests, including representatives of the national political leadership, local government officials, and senior executives from public and private sectors, attended the ceremony, congratulating the organizers for their professionalism, commitment, and the excellent organization of Greece’s biggest Eco Meet.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official opening of the event was performed by Mr. Theodoros Livanios, Minister of the Interior, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou, Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Yiannis Fostiropoulos, Mayor of Palaio Faliro, and Ms. Evdokia Nikolouzou, one of the event’s organizers.

As part of the ceremony, awards were also presented to the municipalities honored at this year’s exhibition.
Specifically, the Municipality of Kalymnos and the Municipality of Skiathos received recognition for their environmental initiatives.
